Welcome to My Child's Heart Ministry
We help parents turn their children's hearts toward God by helping children and their parents study, understand and apply God's Word. We are delighted to provide godly resources for the entire family.
Note to Parents
God has given us an awesome gift of a child(ren) and a huge responsibility. As parents we shape our children's attitudes, actions, and associations. When we make anything more important than our children, we take another step away from love, and a step away from effective biblical parenting. Francis Bacon [1561-1626] understood the primary source of a child’s learning, he said, “Parents who wish to train up their children in the way they should go, must go in the way in which they would have their children go.” When we are inconsistent in delivering godly instruction and wisdom to our children, we practice ineffective parenting.
Many parents have a desire for their children to be strong Christians but are not being intentional in their child's spiritual development. Deut. 11:18-19 tells us that it all starts with the parents. My Child's Heart Ministry wants to help you become the Deuteronomy parent.
Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 19 Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. So in order to be an intentional parent, we have to know God’s Word. Deut. 11:18-19, NIV
My child's Heart Ministry was founded to bring children between the ages of 7-12 into a growing relationship with Christ. This can only be achieved if parents become intentional in their children's spiritual development.
